Karimeen Fry Kerala Style
Karimeen fry is a highly spiced fried fish lined with masala. Karimeen (Pearl spot fish) is one of the most preferred fish in Kerala. Karimeen is considered as a delicacy in Kerala and located mainly within the backwaters. Some of the outstanding Karimeen dishes are Karemeen Fry, Karemeen Molly and Karemeen Pollichathu.
Frying paste is manufactured from purple chili powder, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, fennel powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, water and salt. This paste will make karimeen fry very scrumptious. After making use of this paste at the wiped clean fish and maintain the the fish for marination for minimum 1 hour.
